Thoughts on Community Outreach: The Shorefront Park Cleanup
On Sunday, August 30th Long Island Food Not Bombs shared free food and information with fellow islanders who were helping to clean up our public spaces. BiasHELP and Human Solidarity (an organization located near our Farmingville Food Share) helped organize the event.

BE-IN / SOLARFEST!!Long Island Food Not Bombs will be tabling and speaking at the Be-In/Solarfest in Brentwood, NY. We'll be at the festival on Saturday August 22nd. We will be speaking somewhere between 12 noon and 3pm, I know the range is sort of wide. All I know is that we'll be on for about 10 minutes. Basically, if you're going to be at the festival keep an eye out for us. When:

Anarchist Book Fair Report Back
The Long Island Food Not Bombs table had a great time at the Anarchist Book Fair this past Saturday and we'd like to thank all our friends who supported us. Come see the Long Island FNB table at the Anarchist Book Fair, Tomorrow April 11th
Tomorrow, April 11th from 11am-8pm Long Island Food Not Bombs will be tabling at the New York Anarchist Book Fair. We'll be joined by dozens of other awesome organizations and publications. We will also have tons of awesome fliers + zines, a video presentation and JonSTeps style vegan donuts (including key-lime pie).
