Help create a new Food Not Bombs Chapter in Eastern Long Island, This Wednesday!

Long Island Food Not Bombs is looking to create a new chapter/s in Eastern Long Island but we can't do this without your help. We're looking for some awesome people that would be interested in starting this up with us. Some of the potential sites that we're seriously considering are in Farmingville and Port Jefferson; there have also been other suggestions and we'd love to hear your thoughts as well.

On Wednesday, June 10th, at 6pm Long Island Food Not Bombs will be meeting in Kip Lee (Rocket Ship) Park to have a general discussion about possible new chapter locations, logistics, how folks can help and when it's all going to begin. Please bring your thoughts, friends and you're friends friends. The more people we get the more likely we'll be able to get something going soon.

Directions:

From 25a Turn south onto Barnum Ave, then make your next left on Roessner Ln. In one block you'll be entering the park at the intersection of Roessner and Tuthill St., Make a right onto Tuthill St. and proceed into the parking lot. The park is directly across from the parking lot, adjacent to the basketball courts.
