Victory! All Charges Dropped Against Long Island FNB!

Thanks to the overwhelming support for Long Island Food Not Bombs and the literal thousands!!! of people who have called, emailed and voiced their support over the past forty-eight hours, all charges against Food Not Bombs and it's supporters have been voided!!!

Today, Food Not Bombs activists talked to Bruce Richard, director of Public Safety for the Township of Huntington. Mr. Richards assured and gave us written confirmation that all charges against the Food Not Bombs activists would be void!

While Mr. Richards insisted that the past police harassment was merely a "misunderstanding", he also assure us that it would not happen again and that Food Not Bombs would be left alone for it's weekly food share!

Long Island Food Not Bombs would like to thank our local and worldwide supporters who made this happen with their monsoon of support.

This Tuesdays Food Not Bombs in Huntington will be a celebration that all of you are invited to join.

Thank You Again,
Love & Liberation – Long Island FNB

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." – Margaret Mead
