The World March for Peace and Nonviolence will be circling the globe beginning on Oct. 2nd thru January 2nd. It will be in NYC on November 30th and there will be a march from Union Square to City Hall. Long Islanders would like to show support by having a feeder march over the Brooklyn Bridge on that day, Nov. 30. I can plan peace trains from the east to arrive in Brooklyn around noon, is there anyone who would like to coordinate the Brooklyn end of it? ie. where we can meet, possible rally?
There are events going on in LI from Oct. 2nd thru Nov. 30th - you can read about them at http://tinyurl.com/marchfpn .
Thanks for your help!
