Karen & I went to Patchogue today for the Clean Up & to Share Food. We met some very nice people. It was a beautiful day. We even had a Suffolk County Cop stay for the day with us. I thought it was nice of him, but Karen reminded me that he gets paid to be there. The food share went well. We made some new contacts, people that are willing to help out in Farmingville. I have some phone numbers and email addresses. All the bread went, every last loaf! The kids loved the little round squash, and the lettuce, string beans and eggplant, all gone:)
What a perfect day for people to share food and get along.
