Peach Tree Project mini-meeting, Tuesday March 9th

Join Long Island Food Not Bombs on Tuesday, March 9th to discuss our radical community agricultural program, the Peach Tree Project. Each year as part of the Peach Tree Project LIFNB organizes community members to share seeds and germinated fruits/vegetable plants.
The idea behind it is that these seeds and plants are shared amongst the community to create independent food sources. People are encouraged to grow some of their own food and bring the excess back to their local food share to share with others.
Last year we shared hundreds of germinated plants and trees; peach, pear, tomato, basil, eggplant, zucchini, strawberries, etc...
This year we want to share thousands so we'll need your help. We're encouraging every to grow a little extra this month share with others throughout the spring!
