Jon G. & an ode to the workers solidarity - Discussion & Thoughts 2009

An ode to the workers of Whole Foods and other stores that enable LI-FNB to distribute healthy, organic food to the communities of Hempstead, Huntington Station & Farmingville.

"Solidarity forever!"

That is the battlecry of industrial workers throughout the world.

We are eternally grateful for the efforts of folks who have aided our efforts to provide food for our foodshares. No matter what the weather is, we can count on folks like Larry to help bring boxes of food to our packed cars.

When we have a little bit of space left in our vehicles, we can count on {name worker} to find some more produce and/or a few frozen items to finalize our pick-up.

When a holiday approaches, Pete will always check to see if flowers are available to mark the occasion.

When other bureaucratic service organizations fail to pick up their allotted, we can count on these workers to save the bounty for us!

We have heard from y'all that you appreciate what we are doing for the people.

We thank you so much for all your efforts - without you, our efforts would be impossible!
