FNB Thanksgiving Meeting Postposed! Call for additional volunteer support for Hurricane Sandy R

Two quick announcements everyone!

First, due to Hurricane Sandy, tomorrow’s Thanksgiving planning meeting has been postponed to Monday, Nov. 5th @7pm at the Huntington Public Library. Please spread the word! You can still RSVP on facebook.

Second, it is likely that Hurricane Sandy could displace thousands across Long Island, leave food stores without power, and create additional hardship for many who are already homeless.

That being so, Long Island Food Not Bombs is putting out a call for additional help this week. We never cancel food shares, so we will be out there in the middle of the storm on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. If you’d like to help please contact us a.s.a.p.
